The number of tourists who have booked tours for the April 30 holidays has increased from 10% to 20%, travel agencies said to Tuoi Tre newspaper.

The Vietravel said 60% tourists have booked their tours abroad on the occasion, a year-on-year increase of 20%. Saigontourist has got 70% tourists booked domestic tours.

The number of tourists who are expected to book tours on the April 30 occasion will rise sharply, said Ms Huynh Thu Dung from the Vietravel Company.
